Our coaching team includes UEFA-qualified coaches, professional scouts, former professional players and staff with extensive experience working within academy and senior football environments.
We understand what professional clubs look for in young players — but, just as importantly, we understand that development rarely happens at the same speed for every player.
Some players are ready to step into an academy immediately. Others may need more time, better coaching, greater confidence or simply the opportunity to be seen in the right environment.
That's why EMC PRO is different.
Rather than relying on a single trial or showcase, players train with us regularly, allowing our coaches to understand their game properly and giving visiting scouts the opportunity to watch their development over time.

At young ages, potential can appear in many different ways. A player may have outstanding technical ability, exceptional game understanding, unusual athletic potential or simply an attitude towards learning that suggests they could develop rapidly in the right environment.
Our coaches assess the whole player — not just their performance during one session.
We look at how players react to coaching, how they make decisions under pressure, how they compete, how quickly they learn and how they interact with teammates.
Players develop at different rates, which is why assessment at EMC PRO is continuous.

Professional academy scouts and recruitment staff are invited to attend EMC PRO sessions throughout the season, giving them the opportunity to watch players repeatedly and understand how they perform and develop over time.
That distinction matters.
Academy recruitment is about much more than spotting a great goal or an impressive piece of skill. Scouts want to understand a player's decision making, attitude, athletic potential, consistency and ability to respond to coaching.
Regular training gives them the opportunity to do exactly that.
Our coaching staff also maintain relationships with professional clubs and recruitment teams throughout the season. When we believe a player is ready for an academy opportunity, we can actively recommend them to appropriate clubs.
We cannot promise every player an academy contract.
What we can promise is an environment designed to give talented players the best possible opportunity to develop, be seen and take their next step.

Absolutely. Players are assessed continuously and there are no fixed squads. If a Development player demonstrates that they are ready for the Elite environment, they can be invited to move across at any point during the season.
Yes. Players selected for the Elite Squad receive their weekly EMC PRO training without a weekly coaching fee. Elite places are reviewed throughout the season to ensure the playing standard remains exceptionally high.
EMC PRO is designed for ambitious players from U7 through to U16. Players train within appropriate age groups and environments according to their stage of development.
No. EMC PRO is designed to complement grassroots football rather than replace it. Players can continue representing their existing grassroots club while training with EMC PRO.
Professional academy scouts and recruitment staff are invited throughout the season. Attendance varies depending on age group, club requirements and academy schedules, so we don't guarantee that a scout from a particular club will attend every session.
No reputable programme can guarantee an academy trial or contract.
What we provide is high-quality coaching, continuous assessment and genuine links with professional recruitment teams. When our coaches believe a player is ready for an appropriate academy opportunity, we will actively look to help create that opportunity.
Elite places are invitation only.
Players may be identified through EMC PRO assessments, recommendations, grassroots football, our coaching network or by progressing through the Development Squad.
Selection is based on potential and readiness rather than reputation.
Players who demonstrate potential but are not currently at Elite standard may be offered a place within our Development Pathway.
They will continue to receive high-quality coaching and assessment with the opportunity to earn promotion into Elite.
Yes. Development is at the centre of the programme.
Players are continually assessed by the coaching team and feedback is provided to help them understand their strengths and the areas of their game that require further development.

Absolutely.
Players develop at different rates and being released from an academy does not mean the professional pathway is over.
EMC PRO can provide released academy players with a high-level training environment while giving them opportunities to be seen by other clubs.
Yes.
Academy experience isn't a requirement. We are interested in potential.
If a player demonstrates the ability, attitude and potential required to progress, their previous football background will not prevent them from being considered.
